Jarvis, FBI student from the class of 2013 is the proud recipient of the Sportsman of the Year at the Annual CCA Awards Ceremony 2013

His passion for ten-pin bowling was developed since young. With strong family support and an understanding that there is no short-cut to success, Jarvis trains five times weekly for two to three hours each session.

Since his school days, he has won many medals. His determination paid off in 2010 when he won the most prestigious Men’s Overall National Age Group Championship. His most significant achievement was to defend his title in 2011 as he joined a rare few in Singapore who were able to do so.

Not only did he win many medals individually but also as a team. Under his excellent leadership as captain of his CCA, Temasek Polytechnic won the Men’s Overall Champion for the POL-ITE Bowling Championship for three consecutive years from 2010 to 2012.

Besides excelling in his co-curricular activities, he has also excelled academically. He has been accepted by NTU to further his studies.

Campus Care Network (CCN) at Temasek Polytechnic

On 10 May 2013, students from Temasek Polytechnic turned entrepreneurs by setting up stalls to promote food, drinks, games and other entertainment activities. The proceeds from will go to the CCN Fund to help their peers who may require financial assistance.
